Om varemerket
Hay ble grunnlagt i 2002 og møbelsamlingen ble lansert ved Imm Köln 2003. Ambisjonen bak Hay var å oppmuntre dansk møbeldesign til å vende tilbake til den innovative storhetstiden det hadde på 1950- og 1960-tallet, men i en kontekst som passer til nåtiden. Det ble et konsept som raskt ble veldig populært over hele verden.
